"Stella her name portends a destiny"

"The young woman [...] has talent and determination to spare"

"The artist knows how to conquer a wide audience"

-Marseillaise newspaper

Stella di Stefano is a singer, author, composer and performer whose story begins rather well and with a first name: Stella, which means star in Italian. This first name was chosen by his father 3 years before his birth. It originates from Mediterranean roots, a claimed Italo-Corsican heritage that it endorses with humility.

It was very early, at the age of 9, that Stella di Stefano, while she was driving with her father, heard Henri Salvador's Syracuse radio. It was then the revelation: She knew that she would become a singer.

Subsequently, Stella did not wait to perform on stage during her childhood and adolescence as soon as the opportunity arose. It is therefore logical that she won her first professional contract at the age of 18 and since then she has never stopped performing alone, or accompanied by other artists.

The Théâtre de l'Odéon in Marseille, on cruises to Sardinia or Italy, hired by the Audi brand, singer for the birthdays of air bases, the Andalusians, the Tournée la Marseille, the casting of the Nouvelle Star... A handful of events among so many who, due to the plurality of environments, forged her experience and opened her up to multiple musical styles, enriching her repertoire.

In 2002, Stella Di Stefano met the man who would become the author of her compositions and her artistic director, but above all the love of her life: Stéphan Degioanni. He will encourage her to go solo and it is together, accompanied by a talented artist named Sébastien Germain, a very good friend of Stella, that they will compose the star's first studio album,

titled "And suddenly...".

The decisive impulse lies in a poem written by Stephan that she finds by chance, which will become the eponymous song of the album.

Stella is a singer with a vast repertoire, with dreams that have never ceased to fuel the flame in her and above all with a voice that justifies her first name.
